1.Main functions and characteristics:

TTG15 Lengthwise Fiber Cable Stripper is our patent hand tool, used for stripping the sheath of optical cable. It uses unilateralism ratchet wheel to operate, it can do both across and lengthwise stripping, so that the first-time stripped cable has the symmetry hatches on both sides, as we know, the Side Fiber Cable Ripper must strip twice in the Optical Cable Cut-over with Service process, and it can not do across stripping, but TTG15 overcomes these shortages. It is portable, compact, easy to operate, time-saving; the cut-in depth can be accommodated and can strip at any part of the fiber cable. It can do one-off strip for the fiber cable Ø10~Ø30mm.

It is an absolutely necessary tool for the quality guaranteeing and the safety in the fiber cable construction, especially in optical cable stripping for the Optical Cable Cut-over with Service.

1 Chart of TTG15 Across And Lengthwise Fiber Cable Stripper

1.1 TTG15 mainly consist of handle, bracket, ratchet wheel dial knob, ,turning knob, blade, blade rest, guide pole, blade journey knob, fiber cable tightening setting and other parts.

1.2 The ratchet wheel dial knob at two sides can be turned.

2 The process of stripping the fiber cable

2. 1  Across stripping

2.1.1 Disentangle the fiber cable tightening setting,retract the blade to 0,retract the ratchet wheel to the state like Chart 3 shows.

2.1.2 Detach the left and right bracket, put the fiber cable stripper bestraddle on the fiber cable’

2.1.3 Close the fiber cable tightening setting

2.1.4 Wrest the right turning knob as Chart 2 shows, turning up the blade journey knob, revolve the knifepoint to the proper depth and turning the cable stripper then make the knifepoint again to the proper depth, turning the cable stripper again till you have cut off the fiber cable surface.

2. 1.5 Make the blade to the original state.

2.2 Lengthwise stripping

2.2.1Disentangle the fiber cable tightening setting,retract the blade to 0,retract the ratchet wheel to the state like Chart 3 shows.

2.2.2 Detach the left and right bracket, put the fiber cable stripper bestraddle on the fiber cable’

2.2.3 Close the fiber cable tightening setting,turn the ratchet wheel dial knob,make the ratchet wheel tighten the surface of the fiber cable.

2.2.4 Ratchet wheel dial knob like bellows:

2.2.5 Turn the blade journey knob ,revolve the knifepoint to the proper depth, turn the blade onwards means make the blade enter in the fiber cable; turn the blade backwards means make the blade out of the fiber cable. 

2.2.6 Press two handles to strip along the fiber cable at the same time, also you can loose fiber cable tightening setting, use your two hands to draw along the fiber cable.

2..2.7 Loose fiber cable tightening setting,drop out the lest and right bracket,move out the fiber cable.

2.2.8 Make the blade and ratchet wheel dial knob to the original state.

3 Replacing the blade

3. 1 If the eddy of the knife is no longer tartness or damaged, you can disentangle the blade knob and take the blades out and replacing it.

4 Cleanness and maintain

4. 1 Clear the feculence such as dust, water and smear.

4. 2 Smear a little axunge on the blade to avoid rustiness.

4. 3 Put in the professional tool kit.
